Many college students frequently experience stress and anxiety which can affect their test performances.  Mindfulness has been shown to lower stress, anxiety, and depression; As well as increase test scores and overall well-being.

about the project

How do you manage your mind and body? Do you pursue a healthy lifestyle?
Harness the power of mindfulness-based virtual training to reduce your stress level. Our project, Kalyana Mitta, is a 3-minute meditation session with a virtual instructor to help you achieve calmness in mind and body through an immersive experience in different environments.

Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is shown to give a

  • A 25% decrease in procrastination

  • A 26% reduction in fatigue

  • A 33% improved sleep quality
